I came off a V Star 650 for the 2008 Kawasaki Versys. “Wow”, I have no regrets! "This bike is a blast”! It’s fast, nimble, and the seat, & seating position are very comfortable for all day rides. Go down and take one for a test ride, "you won’t be sorry". As for any women thinking about getting a bike, "don’t be scared off by some of the reviews, about the bike being too tall". I have been riding a Versys for a year now, and I have "never" had a problem reaching the ground, because We adjusted the pre load a little, so the bike will squish down slightly when I sit on it, and I am 5’5", with a 32" inseam. It is a "absolute must” to include the Versys in your test rides before you make your final decision to buy a bike. "I guarantee you’ll love it".

Getting the cam timing done by professionals would be most advisable. With the extra horsepower provided by the Turbo, it would be wiser to install a better set of injectors, otherwise the engine will starve. The intake will improve the breathing and increase the output by a decent amount(20-30hp), so it would be better to that before you get the car dynoed.

As for the suspension, try and install adjustable shocks with damper and spring controls. Three way would do fine without costing that much more. If you don’t have to drive on bad roads, you can have it lowered, giving you better handling, not to mention better looks with the bodykit.

How much hp does the turbo provide and how much boost?

And can the engine handle the extra hp or did you change the pistons and rings?

Why does most of exotic supercars have this problem??

goin good got wheels tires and the intercooler and turbo installed... garret turbo kit for the ka24de s14 but changed the piping to fit the s13 and an hks intercooler. still gotta get it dyno’d and working on body kit spoiler paint and hood and such... then for some suspension tuning and i’ll probably upgrade the fuel injectors and put a cold air intake in later...

also whats you’re opinion on trying to put some type of variable valve timing?

Well, Offshore Drilling is a huge issue right now and rightly so. Between the desire to deal with the economic mess that is being spurred by the price of oil and the on-going longer-term concern of global warming, how do we address all of this?
