Who are the new classics?

I agree a GT-R should be one of them I also think an suv should be included (there fading away in the face of the economy) Probably the cayenne or the hummer (I dont like the hummer but it has alot of credit) and last probably the Mercedes sl because mercedes are the creators of cars and the SLR is too expensive and soon to be out of production and the SL is the next best thing

Subaru shows what it takes to turn an STI into a rally car

Yah Vermont! I remember going here was i was about 15 and seeing my first Lancer EVO (when they used to work them too) Such a great Vid. If anyone has seen the new Subaru commerical, with clips of Suby’s jumping ramps and such, and pastrana flipping the yellow STI at the X-games, you’ll notice the Green Vermont plates! This shop makes those cars too!

Who are the new classics?

First on my list would be the Nissan GT-R.

But then, if you saw my name and have been a member of this site for some time and still didn’t think I was going to root for the GT-R, you’re an idiot.

Aston Martin One-77 - a $1.9 million supercar

The pads will be enough. If you want to do the rotors, just go to the local garage and pick up a couple of used ones from a Ford V8 or something like that. The rotors in rear wheel V8s are quite strong. It would be better to get pad rotors at the back since I assume that particular model has brake shoes rather than pads?

And if you can, try to get a new set of brake tubing, the ones that are connected to the brake pistons and screwed to the main pipe on the car body. They tend to wear out rather quickly (compared to the back) and let the oil leak.Good news is, you can get them for a couple of bucks.

Who are the new classics?

First on my list is the Nissan GT-R. It’s not quite as expensive as an exotic. Rather priced more like the Cadillac XLR, Mercedes SL, Jaguar XK. All those are nice cars, but no where near a Ferrari or Lambo.

Next I nominate the Scion xB. Edgy, unique, really quite nothing else like this car. With the xB Scion has created a cult car.

The upcomming Chevy Volt will be a good contender. First affordable all electric car.

Lexus IS-F. The first Lexus to wear the F badge. If Lexus’ performance devision becomes as successful as Merc’s AMG and BMW’s M the IS-F will be a collectors car.

And lastly IMO there is a slight chance that the Chrysler 300 may become a classic. Or at least the SRT-8 version.
